Who We Are

Julie Richardson

Julie is the owner and manager of Van Erden Richardson law firm. Her statewide practice focuses on business succession, estate planning and administration, real estate, and business transactions, and renewable energy projects.

Julie obtained her Juris Doctor, cum laude, and Masters in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School in 2009. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo, graduating cum laude.

Julie serves on the New York Animal Agriculture Coalition (NYAAC) board and is a member of NEDPA (Northeast Dairy Producers Association) and the New York State Bar Association.

Julie lives in Fabius, NY, with her husband, Ben, and their four children. She remains actively involved in her family’s dairy farm and enjoys being at the farm in her free time.

Corey J. Vincent

Corey is an Attorney with Van Erden Richardson Law Firm.  He supports his statewide clients in transactional and business matters, primarily focusing on business succession, estate and administration planning, real estate transactions, business transactions, and renewable energy projects.  

Corey received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University, and went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. 

Corey grew up in Syracuse, NY, and has always had a close connection to the dairy farming industry, as his extended family ran a dairy farm in the north country over several generations.  Corey is a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association.” 

Lisa Hubbell

Lisa Hubbell is the Financial Controller of Van Erden Richardson, PLLC. Lisa joined the law office in 2019 and is responsible for all financial aspects of the company, including bookkeeping, as well as regular deposits, checks, and vendor bills. She is responsible for client invoicing and accounts receivable in addition to monthly reconciliations of bank accounts.

Lisa has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Le Moyne College.

She grew up on a dairy farm in Pompey, NY. Lisa is a country girl with a love of numbers, the outdoors, and camping with her husband.

Mallory Bohnert

Mallory is a paralegal at Van Erden Richardson, PLLC. She works closely with all members of the team, to provide assistance in research, document preparation and client support.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences with a Law Studies minor from Clarkson University.

Mallory’s admiration and respect for those in the agricultural industry started at a very young age, watching her father build a successful dairy farm in Hamilton, NY, which is where she currently resides with her husband and daughter.

Jan Brhel 

Jan is the Administrative Assistant at Van Erden Richardson, PLLC. She joined the law office in February 2024 after 15 years in higher education.

Jan has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Roberts Wesleyan College.

Jan lives in Pompey with her husband, Bob, and their two dogs. She is the mom of three adult children who live in western New York. When she is not at work she and Bob enjoy biking, hiking, snowshoeing and cooking.

Mary Beckendorf

Mary is a fractional COO who provides expertise in operations, project management, automation, productivity, and organization to our team.

Mary has a passion for agriculture. She grew up on a small family dairy in Western New York and now owns and operates a regenerative pastured pork and chicken operation with her husband and five children.

Mary serves various clients in the agricultural space, through her online consulting firm Root & Rise Consulting.
